2nd Grade Staff
2nd Grade Objectives:
We offer a balanced academic program in Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies. Additionally, all second grade children have Science in rotating, mixed groups. The children have a different second grade teacher for each unit.
Our field trips are a wonderful extension of second grade curriculum. We typically visit a theater and symphony in San Francisco.
Friday Club, unique to second grade, is an incentive for all the second graders to have good behavior, complete all classwork and homework each week. Some Friday Club activities have been, organized kickball games, hula hoops, and free play.
Second grade is a very exciting place at Franklin.
