Class Pic 06:

Welcome to our 5th grade website. There are many wonderful things for you to see. You will find links throughout this site that will take you to other places that you will enjoy! You will know if something is a link because it will be highlighted in blue if you haven't visited it yet, or purple if you have.

Chalkboard:

Special Notes

Thank you to everyone who donated wish list items to the classroom. We really appreciate your generosity!

Relay:

RELAY FOR LIFE!!
On October 7-8 at BHS, I'll be participating in the Cancer Society's Relay for Life in honor of my grandma, Sharon Bennett, who died two years ago from cancer. The relay is an overnight event that unites our community in a common effort to support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem. Each team tries to have representation on the track for 24 hours.

If you'd like to donate to my walk or purchase a luminaria, you can click on This Link to do so. My team, The Striders and Survivors, is also looking for people to commit to walking on the track for 1 hour to help us reach the 24 hour goal. If you'd like to get your family out for a bit of exercise and walk for a cause, please let me know, give me a time frame that's good for you and I'll add you to our list. You DO NOT have to raise any money for yourself unless you want to. I hope you’ll be able to join us for this year’s event. Thank you for making a real difference in the lives of people facing cancer – and in the lives of the people who love them!

"Teachers are those who use themselves as bridges,
Over which they invite their students to cross,
Then having facilitated their crossing,
joyfully collapse,
Encouraging them to build bridges of their own."
